Ages
We offer care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Language & Literacy
During circle time the children are read to every day. They learn shapes, colors, letters and numbers, months, days of the week and the weather thru song and fun games. We also introduce the theme for the week and have short discussions with different activities. We also teach them Spanish.
Cognitive Development
Throughout the day the children will participate in various activities such as: Pretend/dramatic play, block area, table activities, themed activities, sorting activities, memory games, number order, story sequencing with pictures, or guessing games.
Science
& Math
We implement STEM activities that encourage imagination, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. We explore nature, do fun experiments to build the children's curiosity and desire to explore. Children learn the concepts of numbers and understand the relationship between numbers and quantity.
Social Development
We encourage a respectful relationship with your child where they feel loved and safe, developing their confidence through positive reinforcement. They also learn how to make friends and share.
Arts & Crafts
Arts and crafts provide your child with a unique, fun opportunity to learn and improve their creative skills. When creating an arts and crafts project, children are able to develop their fine motor skills.
Outdoor Play & Exercise
We encourage outdoor play in our onsite outdoor area. Children are taken out twice a day. When indoors (due to the weather) we participate in zumba, yoga or other gross motor activities.
Music
There is music on designated days of the month. We explore new songs with different instruments. Music can help with many aspects of a child's development.
